Simple jQuery fuction is used to add an active class to the item boxes. You could do this with the CSS checkbox hack as well too. Maybe. Click me, too.

But it is just a simple animation of an opacity fade to 99.9% with display:none as the 100% keyframe. And I'm gone with a click.
