Project Mountain was an idea my friend, Steve, and I, initially came up with in order to keep track of our projects. Shortly after, we decided to turn it into a full blown app with mobile support. We also made it adorable and fun, because who likes doing project management?
The tech doesn’t really matter
True mastery doesn’t come from arguing about which technology is better than another; it comes from knowing when to best use it for a specific context. I love pushing the limits to what the web can do, so I will use the most fitting technologies for what I’m trying to accomplish at that time. In fact, these are some of the tools I will commonly use to do so.
Why invest so much time?
The short answer...because it’s awesome and I enjoy it. But really, to do things properly, it’s important to invest the time to plan out every single detail. The success of a brand hinges on all the pieces moving together in unity, whether it’s the functioning of the site, colors used in the app, or the number of people engaging on any social media site.
Other than that...
I’m big into health and fitness. I like playing on my piano at home, cooking up amazing recipes, doing yoga, and going to the beach..like all the time. And if I could do all that while traveling around the world, I think I’d be set for life.
